The designer collaborates across disciplines to integrate MEP with structural and architectural requirements and supports accurate project estimates with system quantities and equipment selections.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MEP design or engineering experience in modular, residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Provide MEP drawings, equipment specifications, system calculations.
• Design HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for modular buildings with constructability and code compliance.
• Perform electrical load calculations.
• Integrate MEP with structural, architectural, and modular manufacturing requirements.
• Modify MEP designs to maintain compliance with IBC, NEC, IPC, IMC, and state modular codes.
• Diagnose and resolve system design issues, clashes, energy-code concerns, or performance requirements.
• Support project estimating with MEP quantities and equipment selections.
• Maintain knowledge of modular MEP codes, energy requirements, and design standards.
