Entech Engineering, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineering Designer with 2–10 years of experience to support architectural engineering and facilities projects.

Responsibilities include designing HVAC, plumbing, and utility systems, preparing drawings, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team across Beaver Falls, Reading, Lancaster, or Pottsville offices. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Approximately 2–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, building systems, utilities, infrastructure, or consulting engineering.
• Proficiency or working capability in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Competency with building load calculation software such as Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE, IES, or similar software.
• Commitment to professional growth toward increased technical responsibility and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and documentation of mechanical systems for building, facility, utility, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare mechanical drawings, details, schedules, and specifications.
• Support design of HVAC, hydronic, ventilation, and plumbing systems; coordinate controls.
• Perform building load calculations using Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE, IES, or similar software.
• Assist with equipment selections, ductwork layouts, and system sizing.
• Coordinate mechanical design with electrical, plumbing, architectural, civil, and owner requirements.
• Participate in site visits, field surveys, and construction meetings.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and contractor questions during construction.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost opinions.
