Job summary

Impact Housing is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant to manage accounting for modular home manufacturing operations, including cost tracking for materials, labor, and production, with emphasis on job costing, WIP, and inventory control.

You will partner with operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, support monthly closes, and maintain strong internal controls while leveraging NetSuite to optimize processes and data integrity across the production lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts.
• Ability to gather facts, perform basic analysis, and resolve routine issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records for manufacturing; track costs for materials, labor, and production.
• Support monthly close activities with schedules and variance analyses.
• Reconcile accounts related to inventory, production orders, fixed assets, and P&L.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve production data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Assist with accounts payable processes and reporting.
