Talentify is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage material costs and BOMs for residential modular products in the United States. The role emphasizes cost control, variance analysis, and forecasting to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of residential construction concepts and techniques.
• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role.
• In-depth understanding of manufactured homes business.
• Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Collect material cost information and maintain accurate BOM for multiple residential modular product offerings
• Maintain proper cost percentage by recommend required price changes
• Determine fixed costs (e.g. Model requirements, Mandatory options)
• Plan for and record variable costs (e.g. raw material and labor costs)
• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
• Analyze and report BOM margins
• Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
• Assisting in month-end and quarter-end inventory
• Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
