Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee data and power modular solutions in Pelzer, SC. You will supervise modular data center construction, coordinate with architecture, electrical, and other disciplines, and emphasize drafting, cost estimates, test procedures, and installation manuals.

The role requires strong PM skills, leadership, and the ability to manage design-to-delivery processes across internal teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the electrical field.
• Knowledge of local, state, & federal building codes governing modular/transportable buildings.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications.
• Must be able to clearly interpret customer specification requirements.
• Ability to reduce costs without impacting quality, reliability or maintainability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Integrated Solution Sr Production Manager.
• Run pre-modularized projects from early design through factory build and delivery.
• Engage in development of drawings and design strategies.
• Coordinate with LV, Busbar and MV on modular fit outs.
• Coordinate and procure outsourced vendors.
• Liaise and organize sub-contractors in factory and on site.
• Oversee commissioning activities and document control.
• Document control on client and Vertiv platforms.
• Assist in ordering materials and equipment via supply chain.
• Attend client production, commissioning and schedule meetings.
• Complete snagging and quality checks before dispatch.
• RAMS and delivery strategies/planning.
• Provide support to site teams.
