Job summary

Vertiv is hiring a Senior Project Manager in Pelzer, SC for key data center accounts. This role manages multiple data center customer projects and liaises with project management to drive communication and coordination between external partners and internal departments to deliver exceptional service and on-time delivery from order acknowledgement to equipment startup.

Prior project management experience required.
Construction project management is a plus.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical contracting is a plus.
3–5 years of experience is typical for this role.
Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with the PMO to define methods, procedures and best practices for projects.
Define project scope and tasks; develop execution plans; coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver.
Track project reporting and KPIs; document notes and action items; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Ensure service and delivery execution meets contract requirements and customer expectations by cross-functional collaboration.
Identify risks and mitigation plans; communicate issues to stakeholders.
Monitor schedules and coordinate activities on the critical path; implement resolutions.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, customers and suppliers.
