Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer for modular data center projects in Salt Lake City, UT. You will develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, efficiency and productivity.

The role supports new product development, conducts capacity studies, and coordinates with cross-functional teams and vendors to meet specifications while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. This position may involve travel to vendor sites.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in mechanical, structural, or industrial engineering and 2–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong ability to design, analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for safety, quality, efficiency and throughput.
• Experience with plant layouts, work instructions, and capacity planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to meet product/process specs.
• Conduct capacity and labor planning studies; estimate production requirements and costs.
• Design plant layouts and 3D facility models; coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Travel approximately 10% to vendor sites or other locations.
