Job summary

McGrath is seeking a Field Service Technician in Boise, ID. You will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of modular equipment in the field and at the branch, across plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. A valid driver’s license is required and daily travel to customer sites is possible.

You’ll update records, train customer staff on machinery, and ensure safety and quality; the role involves operating company vehicles and following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or related work.
• Ability to communicate with customers regarding work status and service concerns.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance service, repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, HVAC, roofing and electrical.
• Ensure safety, quality and productivity at customer locations.
• Maintain a positive interface with customers to protect company reputation.
• Log inspections for equipment/vehicle and report exceptions.
• Operate company vehicle and read blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Work outdoors in variable weather and use manual and power tools.
