Job summary

Mobile Modular Management Corporation - A Division of McGrath is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain modular equipment at customer sites and branches across the Midwest region. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, perform routine maintenance, and train customer employees on equipment care.

The role requires travel up to 90% with overnight stays; candidates must hold a valid driver's license and have construction-related experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or related work.
• Basic electrical, plumbing and flooring with an emphasis to learn HVAC
• Ability to communicate with customers regarding work status and service concerns
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance service, repairs and construction in plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, HVAC, roofing and electrical.
• Responsible for safety, quality and productivity of themselves at all customer locations.
• Maintain inspection logs for equipment/vehicle and report exceptions as required.
• Safely operate company vehicle and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Read blueprints, schematics and work orders; work in variable weather conditions.
