Job summary

McGrath RentCorp seeks a Field Service Technician in Boise, ID to maintain modular equipment at customer sites and branches. You will troubleshoot, repair, install systems across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and related trades, while delivering safe, high-quality service and exceptional customer experiences.

This on-site role requires a valid driver’s license, construction experience, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or related work.
• Basic electrical, plumbing and flooring with an emphasis to learn HVAC.
• Ability to communicate with customers regarding work status and service concerns.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• HVAC training and EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs and construction in plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, HVAC, roofing and electrical.
• Ensure safety, quality and productivity at customer locations.
• Maintain equipment/vehicle inspection logs and report exceptions.
• Read blueprints, schematics and work orders; follow company standards.
• Work outside in variable weather and operate company vehicle to service sites.
• Deliver high-quality output and follow safety policies.
