Job summary

Lunova Group is seeking a Superintendent for Modernization to lead field operations in the Greater Washington, DC area. The role focuses on delivering modernization and construction projects safely, on schedule, and within budget from planning through completion.

Based out of College Park, MD, you will lead field crews, coordinate subcontractors, maintain customer relationships, and provide hands-on operational leadership across multiple active jobsites, driving project execution and team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction project management or construction field operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, scheduling, and project execution.
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple active projects simultaneously; experience coordinating subcontractors and managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field personnel across modernization and construction projects.
• Manage project schedules, manpower planning, and daily field operations.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
• Conduct regular job-site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to support project timelines.
• Review project costs, budgets, and job status reports to identify risks and opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with customers, consultants, architects, and internal teams throughout project execution.
• Support change order management, purchase approvals, and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot field and operational issues to keep projects moving forward.
• Promote and enforce company safety standards and compliance initiatives.
• Mentor and develop field employees through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers and project stakeholders.
• Assist with workforce planning, hiring, and team development initiatives.
