Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an experienced IT practitioner to own Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and modern workplace technologies across the bank. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar technical service/support function or related role.
• Demonstrated experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 and cloud-based business applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and/or Dataverse, and CoPilot.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record, with vehicle requirement if needed.

Responsibilities

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time

CORE FUNCTION:

Serve as the Bank's subject matter expert, strategic lead, and primary owner for Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and modern workplace technologies. Evaluate, design, implement, administer, govern, and continuously improve secure, scalable digital workplace solutions that enhance employee productivity, collaboration, automation, reporting, and overall user experience. This role bridges business operations and enterprise technology by identifying business needs, gathering requirements, translating them into technology solutions, and ensuring the effective lifecycle management of the Bank’s modern workplace ecosystem.

The position provides technical leadership and operational oversight for Microsoft technologies and related cloud services, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, cloud identity services, and collaboration technologies. Working closely with business leaders, Information Security, Compliance, and operational teams, the analyst develops and enforces governance standards, aligns solutions with security and regulatory requirements, automates business processes, develops reporting and analytics capabilities, supports user adoption and training, and ensures platforms remain secure, functional, and aligned with organizational objectives. The role is responsible for maximizing the value of the Bank’s technology investments while continuously improving the digital work experience and operational efficiency for employees and customers of BNH.

PRIMARY DETAILS OF FUNCTION: (essential functions are in bold type)

1. Be the owner and support lead for a subset of the bank’s systems and applications. Serve as the primary advocate for these systems by actively understanding their uses, functionality, and overall operation within the organization.
2. Develop, maintain, and enforce governance frameworks, standards, policies, procedures, and documentation to improve the use and support of these systems
3. Build strong relationships with business leaders, department managers, and employees to understand operational needs, system usage, business challenges, workflow inefficiencies, reporting requirements, and opportunities to maximize the bank’s investment in technology.
4. Actively analyze and research options to innovate and improve bank productivity, efficiency while maintaining appropriate security, compliance, risk and operational controls.
5. Conduct business process reviews, requirements-gathering sessions, workflow mapping, and solution design activities.
6. Participate in designated committees and cross-funtional inititaives in support of Bank objectives.
7. Ensure that all systems have another team member that understands the operation and support of your designated primary applications/systems, and can take over for you when you are not available for planned or unplanned reasons.
8. Develop and execute testing to support new or updated systems.
9. Perform upgrades, and notify staff of enhancements
10. Develop and/or lead the training of systems.
11. Train the ITSD staff to best provide level one support for your systems.
12. Serve as level two support on the ITSD for your primary applications, and of other applications supported by the team.
13. Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Power BI reporting solutions for various Bank departments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Varied work with a normal expenditure of energy and little or no unusual physical effort. Involves operation of a computer terminal, various other related equipment, requires dexterity, visual attention and application. Work often involves intermittent walking, sitting and standing. Must possess the ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds; must have physical ability to reach out-of-the-way cable hookups and work in service access areas of equipment closets.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Well-lighted office environment including constant noise from equipment and a climate-controlled temperature. Flexibility of work hours, including participation in the IT Service Desk's 'on call' support process is required due to the nature of the work and end of day deadlines.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• 3-5 years of experience working in a similar technical service/support function or related company position of similar duties and responsibilities, or equivalent combination of experience and formal education in Information Technology disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 and cloud-based business applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and/or Dataverse, and CoPilot.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record, as well as a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
