Job summary

Syndigo is seeking a Moderation Operations Coordinator in Chicago, a hybrid, hourly role with 2 days in office weekly. You will support daily moderation activities, maintain quality standards, and assist moderators by resolving routine questions while contributing to consistent moderation.

Join a team that maintains policy adherence, analyzes moderation outcomes, and shares improvement insights to help protect brand integrity and ensure accurate content across our platform.

• 2+ years of moderation, QA, compliance review, content review, trust & safety, audit, or other experience involving applying detailed guidelines, reviewing work for accuracy, and making quality decisions

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly quality checks on AI and human moderation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and policy adherence.
• Monitor escalated moderation decisions and complex review scenarios.
• Respond to moderator questions and provide guidance as needed.
• Identify trends, flag issues, and share suggestions for improvement with the Moderation Manager.
• Serve as the subject matter resource on moderation policies and best practices.

**This is an hourly, hybrid position that requires 2 days per week in office at our Chicago location**

This role supports the day-to-day operations of the moderation team by helping maintain quality standards, following established processes, and providing day-to-day support to moderators. The Moderation Operations Coordinator serves as a resource for team members, helps resolve routine questions, and contributes consistent moderation.

HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY

• Perform monthly quality checks on AI and human moderation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and policy adherence and share results with the team and Moderation Manager.
• Monitor escalated moderation decisions and complex review scenarios.
• Respond to moderator questions and provide guidance as needed.
• Identify trends, flag issues, and share suggestions for improvement with the Moderation Manager.
• Serve as the subject matter resource on moderation policies and best practices.

Your individual compensation within the budgeted salary range is determined based on your skills, education, experience, and internal equity.For full-time U.S. based-employees, we offer competitive health insurance benefits, PTO and volunteer time off, employer-paid short- and long-term disability, parental and adoption leave, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Budgeted Salary Range:: $41,600 USD - $54,080 USD
