Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineering Manager 2 to lead the team in San Diego, CA. The role oversees staff, aligns priorities across operating units, and ensures high‑quality engineering analyses and robust SOW execution.

The position requires a STEM bachelor’s (8+ years in M&S or 6+ with a Master’s) and the ability to obtain a final Government Secret Clearance. Preferred credentials include a Master’s in a STEM field and familiarity with Tempo/EDCAS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years in Modeling and Simulation or 6+ with a Master's in STEM.
• 2+ years of MAAF or LCOM experience or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a final Government Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Modeling and Simulation team and manage SOW execution.
• Coordinate priorities across multiple Operating Units to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and apply deterministic and stochastic models and simulations.
