Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support the Ground Weapons System program as an individual contributor on the System Performance and Analysis – Test Exerciser team. This role provides technical contributions to modeling and simulation products for the Missile Defense Agency.

Candidates should have strong C/C++ or JAVA skills, experience with object oriented design and MBSE concepts, and be able to work in an in-person environment requiring a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 1 year.
• Sr. Principal requires Bachelor's with 8+ years, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4 years.
• Proficiency in strongly typed languages such as C, C++, or JAVA.
• Experience with OOD/SOLID and modeling & simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical contributions and guidance to modeling and simulation products for the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program.
• Support design and development of GWS for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
• Work in a fast-paced, diverse, in-person team environment.
• Debug complex software systems and ensure MBSE requirements derivation.
