Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Scientist II to develop high-fidelity RF sensor and antenna models using AF SIM for Air Force programs in Dayton, OH. You will build algorithms and simulation components, integrate them into engagement- and theater-level simulations, and collaborate with Air Force stakeholders on analysis and acquisition decisions.

The role requires strong background in RF sensors, antenna theory, MATLAB/Simulink, and electromagnetic simulation, with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics/Physics with ABET accreditation and at least 5 years of engineering experience.
Experience with RF sensor principles, signal processing, and airborne radar/EW concepts.
Strong understanding of antenna theory and element/array design.
Proven ability to solve hardware/software integration challenges.

Responsibilities

Develop RF sensor models and algorithms for RF systems and simulations.
Create complex antenna element/array models and integrate into large simulation architectures.
Document software/hardware characteristics, plan tests, and analyze data.
Integrate models into engagement- and theater-level AF SIM environments.
Support development and refinement of subsystem models to improve fidelity.
