Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks an RF Sensor Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support a small, highly empowered team in Dayton, OH.

You will leverage modeling and simulation experience for aerospace systems, developing RF sensor models and integrating antennas into large-scale simulations. The role requires 5+ years in modeling and simulation, proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and electromagnetic tools, and a strong background in antenna theory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in modeling and simulation software development.
• Proficient with MATLAB/Simulink and electromagnetic tools.
• Understanding of RF sensor principles, signal processing, airborne radar, EW/EA.
• Strong antenna theory, element/array design, and pattern analysis.
• Ability to solve complex hardware-software integration challenges.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of reporting results.
• Willingness to relocate to Dayton, OH.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF sensor models, algorithms, and simulation software for system types.
• Develop complex antenna element/array models and integrate into large simulations.
• Document software/hardware characteristics; design tests; collect data and report.
• Integrate models into engagement- and theater-level simulations, including hardware-in-the-loop.
