AeroVironment is seeking mid-to-senior RF Modeling and Simulation Engineers to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM or Germantown, MD. You will develop system-level models for advanced RF and phased-array systems, guiding architecture, performance prediction, test planning, and production decisions.

The role involves correlating simulations with measured data, collaborating across RF, hardware, and test teams, and potentially leading modeling activities and mentoring engineers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Mid-Level: five+ years RF modeling, electromagnetic simulation, array analysis, RF system development.
• Senior-Level: eight+ years, with leadership in RF modeling or system analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Develop RF system, antenna, and phased-array models for performance prediction and design trades.
• Analyze metrics such as EIRP, gain, noise figure, and link margin.
• Automate analyses and develop reusable modeling workflows.
• Lead modeling efforts and mentor junior engineers.
