Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking an Electronic Warfare RF Simulation Analyst to model threat sensors and support mission-level survivability analysis. You will work within a small, collaborative team of engineers and scientists to deliver advanced RF capabilities for defense programs.

You will use tools like AF SIM to represent EW threats, interact with DoD program sponsors, and communicate complex technical topics to mixed audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant RF sensors or EW systems experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for multi-disciplinary audiences.
• Eligible to obtain Interim Secret clearance by start date; citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Model threat sensors for evolving threats in multiple simulation programs.
• Support DoD survivability studies using EW threat systems.
• Collaborate with teams, sponsors and across organizational boundaries.
