Aether Aerospace in Dayton, OH, seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Scientist III to support U.S. Air Force programs. You will develop high-fidelity models using AF SIM to evaluate air and space systems, EW capabilities, and mission-level performance.

You will create RF sensor and antenna models, build algorithms, document results, and collaborate with government partners. A ABET degree and 10+ years experience required; TS/SCI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Math with 10+ years engineering experience
• Experience with mission-level simulation tools such as AFSIM
• Strong RF and antenna theory knowledge
• Proven technical leadership and mentorship
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Responsabilités

• Develop RF sensor models, algorithms, and simulation software and conduct trade-space analysis
• Develop complex antenna element/array models and integrate into larger system simulations
• Assess and verify antenna and system-level design characteristics and performance
• Document software/hardware characteristics, simulation changes, test designs, and analysis results
• Integrate models into engagement-, theater-, and hardware-in-the-loop simulations
• Lead the design, specification, and development of new modeling tools and system enhancements
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, briefings, and documentation
