Job summary

Stellantis Auburn Hills seeks an xIL Modeling Engineer to help model a virtual propulsion system by assembling control functions and calibrations for in-house and supplier modules. You will validate full systems via virtual driving and contribute to advancing platform evolution.

The role integrates with validation, calibration, and propulsion system teams, requiring strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, collaboration with suppliers, and rigorous issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to work rapidly and independently.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, plus effective verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and monitor a Simulink MIL platform for each project release.
• Coordinate with xMPP, validation, calibration, and physical modeling teams.
• Work with suppliers on requirements, interface definitions, and model implementations.
• Issue tracking and resolution for platform-related tasks.
• Prepare models for SIL/HIL platforms.
