Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn, AL seeks an xIL Modeling Engineer to build and validate a virtual propulsion system using Simulink MIL for project releases. You will work with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate interfaces and timely delivery.

The role requires MATLAB/Simulink experience, knowledge of propulsion architectures, and strong communication skills in a multicultural environment. Automotive engineering background preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong ability to work rapidly and independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and multi-project management.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills in a multicultural matrix organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and monitor a Simulink MIL platform for each project release.
• Collaborate with suppliers on requirements and model interfaces.
• Coordinate platform activities with xMPP, validation, calibration, and physical modeling teams.
• Track and resolve issues.
• Analyze customer requests and evolve the platform.
• Prepare models for SIL/HIL platforms.
