Job summary

TransUnion LLC is seeking a data science professional to support model risk management, governance, and analytics across large datasets. The role involves collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and stakeholders, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring in-person presence at a TransUnion office location for at least two days a week.

Responsibilities include building data extraction and analysis programs (R, Python, SQL, Hive, Spark) and developing training materials related to model risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, engineering, operations research, or another highly quantitative field.
• At least four years of professional analytical experience in financial services, consumer credit, or related industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and write programs for data extraction, segmentation, and statistical analysis of large datasets.
• Maintain model risk management documentation and governance artifacts.
• Develop and manage the annual model validation plan and training materials.
