Job summary

Transamerica seeks a Director of Model Risk Management Analytics & Reporting to lead the MRM analytics platform and reporting across the enterprise. You will own data input, governance training, validation cycle planning, and risk analytics, partnering with BU stakeholders to embed a strong model risk culture.

The role requires a deep background in statistics or finance, strong communication, and experience with SQL and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, finance or relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in model risk management or internal controls.
• Progressive leadership experience in model risk management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own MRM platform data input, integrity and reporting.
• Train and support MRM governance and platform usage for BU teams.
• Provide analytics and reporting for model validation cycles and senior oversight committees.
• Maintain and evolve the model risk scoring process.
• Engage BU stakeholders to embed a stronger model risk culture.
