Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a data analytics professional in Chicago, IL to support credit risk management and BI analytic solutions. The role involves designing programs for data extraction and statistical analysis on large datasets using R, Python, SQL, Hive, and Spark on server and cloud platforms.

You will assist in developing model risk management policies, collect documentation for validation, and collaborate with developers to streamline governance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field required.
• Skills include big data/cloud computing, ML, statistics, applied mathematics, R, SQL, Hive, Python, model risk governance and controls, model risk management, Hadoop, Spark.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of credit risk management and BI analytics solutions.
• Design and develop programs for data extraction, segmentation and statistical analysis on large datasets.
• Assist in creating and maintaining model risk management policies, procedures, and guides.
• Collect and maintain supporting model documentation for validation.
• Respond to documentation requests from clients, regulators or internal auditors.
• Collaborate with model developers and stakeholders to streamline governance processes.
• Maintain model inventory and implement enhancements as appropriate.
• Create and manage the annual model validation plan.
• Develop and present model risk management training materials.
