Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking experienced retail leaders for immediate placement as Store Managers through its Manager-On-Deck (MOD) program. This is not entry-level; MODs are certified to assume full store management duties when a vacancy opens.

The MOD program provides hands-on certification, coaching, and progression to a Store Manager role, with a target compensation of $70,000 per year plus bonus. Candidates must relocate or be willing to work at an open store as openings arise.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience leading a team in a similar role.
• Proven experience in retail or automotive service management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Previous automotive technician experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set expectations and communicate regularly with employees on responsibilities, goals, training, development, and customer service.
• Hold employees accountable for responsibilities and goals through coaching and counseling.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Recruit, interview, and hire new employees in partnership with HR.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for all employees.
• Analyze and improve store performance to maximize sales and profit targets.
