Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Manager in Training for the MOD program in Nashville, TN. This is not entry level; qualified candidates become Experienced Store Managers as vacancies arise.

The MOD program provides hands-on certification, pairing with a top-performing store manager, coaching, and real-time practice. Compensation is $70,000 per year plus bonus and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience leading a team.
• Experience in retail or automotive service management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to develop and meet sales and profit goals.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Willingness to relocate or accept placement in an open store.
• Ability to work five days per week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set expectations and communicate regularly with employees on responsibilities, goals, training, development, and customer service.
• Coach and counsel; hold employees accountable for responsibilities and goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Recruit, interview, and hire new employees in partnership with HR.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for all employees.
• Analyze and measure business trends; develop plans to maximize sales and meet targets.
• Share targets and results with staff during store meetings.
• Review invoices and reports to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain controls over company assets and closing procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the store; maintain housekeeping and merchandising standards.
• Inspect equipment and request maintenance as necessary.
• Return unused parts to vendors and process credits.
