Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking Experienced Store Managers for our Manager-On-Deck (MOD) program. This is a fully responsible leadership role with immediate placement as Store Manager, not entry-level.

Compensation starting at $70,000 per year plus bonus opportunities. MOD participants are paired with high performing store managers, receive coaching, and are certified to lead store operations as vacancies arise.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience leading a team in a similar role.
• Proven experience in retail or automotive service management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Sun Auto’s driving requirements.
• Willingness to relocate or accept placement in an open store upon program completion.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set expectations and communicate regularly with employees on responsibilities, goals, training, development, and customer service.
• Coach and counsel staff to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Recruit, interview, and hire new employees with HR collaboration.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for all employees.
• Analyze and measure business trends; develop plans to maximize sales and profit targets.
• Share financial targets and results in store meetings.
• Review invoices and daily reports to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain proper controls over company assets and follow closing procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the store and merchandising standards.
• Coordinate regular equipment inspections and maintenance requests.
• Return unused parts to vendors and process credits promptly.
