Job summary

American Products in Strafford, MO is seeking a hands-on Shelter Assembly Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM). You will lead the Shelter Assembly team, ensure safety, quality, productivity, and employee development on the production floor.

You will coach, troubleshoot, balance staffing, monitor inventory accuracy, drive continuous improvement with lean practices, and foster a positive, accountable team culture that delivers on production goals.

Qualifications

American Products is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead our Shelter Assembly team and ensure safety, quality, productivity, and employee development on the production floor.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching others, solving problems, and creating a positive work environment. This role is responsible for supporting team members, meeting production goals, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving continuous improvement throughout the operation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent reaching, bending, crouching, and kneeling
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots
