Job summary

American Products in Strafford, MO, is seeking a hands-on Shelter Assembly Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead our assembly team, ensure safety, quality, productivity, and employee development on the production floor.

You will coach staff, meet daily production goals, manage scheduling and attendance, apply lean principles to reduce waste, and foster a collaborative, accountable team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience required (team lead experience considered).
• Manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and employee development skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to support the team where needed.

American Products is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead our Shelter Assembly team and ensure safety, quality, productivity, and employee development on the production floor.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching others, solving problems, and creating a positive work environment. This role is responsible for supporting team members, meeting production goals, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving continuous improvement throughout the operation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent reaching, bending, crouching, and kneeling
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots
