Job summary

Gates Corporation in Denver, CO is seeking a Buyer/Planner for the Mobility unit to lead production planning for drive system components, manage scheduling and inventory, and coordinate with vendors globally.

You will analyze demand, create POs, monitor end-to-end flow, and drive KPI-based improvements to meet fast-growing customer demand while partnering with commercialization/demand planning and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 4 years of relevant supply chain experience (procurement, production planning, forecasting).
• Global supply chain experience with order management capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
• Proficient IT skills; Excel with advanced formulas; Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer demand through orders and forecast to coordinate flow of goods from multiple vendors, maintaining inventory.
• Manage timely flow of goods through PO creation and maintenance with end to end visibility.
• Communicate with vendors using collaborative cloud-based software to share data ensuring on-time delivery.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply and minimize risk.
• Responsible for assembly scheduling and collaborating with assembly line supervisor to manage line operations.
• Maintain customs documents for assembly line operation.
• Work with transportation and customs teams for freight quotes, expediting, and tracking of essential goods.
• Assist customer service and other supply chain analysts in conveying delivery and delays to customers.
• Drive supply chain improvement through reporting on KPIs and identifying trends to meet annual goals.
