Job summary

Gates Corporation in the Mobility business seeks a Senior Manager, Supplier Development and Continuous Improvement. You will lead supplier development teams and drive continuous improvement across global suppliers, working with product strategy, quality and procurement to meet enterprise goals and customer expectations.

This role prefers location in Southeast Asia with global travel; however, you will collaborate across regions and report to the Director of Product Strategy - Mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent required.
• MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• 15+ years in supplier development, quality, or CI fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development teams in Asia, China and Southeast Asia, and oversee suppliers in North America and Europe as needed.
• Formulate strategic sourcing plans to identify new suppliers and optimize costs.
• Develop sourcing strategies to reduce risk and ensure on-time delivery and cost savings.
• Lead initiatives to improve supplier operations, cost effectiveness, service levels and lead times.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• Lead a product quality team to support regional customers and drive corrective actions.
