Job summary

Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath) is hiring a Mobility Mentor - Stabilization to support families who recently left EMPath’s emergency shelter programs. You will guide them toward self-sufficiency and stable housing within a Mobility Mentoring framework.

The role focuses on goal setting, tenancy coordination with housing teams and landlords, and connecting families to schools, employment services, and medical providers.

Qualifications

• Passion for and experience with diverse populations (homeless/formerly homeless, immigrants, BIPOC families).
• Proven skill in collaborating with families to develop goals and provide clear feedback.
• Understanding of housing subsidy programs and Landlord/Tenant rights.
• Data-driven mindset in program delivery and evaluation.
• Tech savviness and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assisting families with tenancy management, collaborating with housing team and landlords.
• Providing advocacy, consumer education, and crisis management to prevent housing disruption.
• Helping families achieve residential stability, and connect to schools, employment services, and medical providers.
