Job summary

Rehab Medical is seeking a Mobility Equipment Technician to deliver, setup, and service mobility equipment in patients' homes, ensuring safe, accurate operation and quality education. You will collaborate with therapists and ATPs to customize equipment to patient needs.

The role supports an ATP Career Path with opportunities for advancement, and offers structured orientation, recognition, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering consumer or medical equipment (preferred).
Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot, repair, and set up complex power chairs.
Basic computer and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with patients while maintaining professionalism, respect and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Equipment Delivery, Service, and Repair — Provide exceptional customer service and education of all deliveries, service calls, pickups, and repairs according to manufacturer guidelines and patient needs.
Diagnoses, troubleshoot, repair, and document equipment issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation accurately and promptly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe company vehicle in compliance with company policies.
