Job summary

Numotion in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and medical equipment. You will work in-shop and in the field, ensuring safety and reliability per manufacturer specifications.

You will also maintain inventory, document activities, educate customers, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with equipment and safety practices. A valid driver’s license and mechanical experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience.
• At least two years of mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Operate hand and power tools; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop or field.
• Maintain rental/stock equipment in ready condition.
• Keep shop/warehouse clean and safe.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory.
• Complete documentation and obtain necessary signatures.
• Educate customers and caregivers on safe use and care.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance.
• Participate in in-service training to stay updated.
