Job summary

KUKA is seeking a Mobility Engineer to support design, integration, testing and commissioning of automated systems both in the factory and in the field. The role collaborates across departments to translate customer requirements into total system solutions and to support safety analyses and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a engineering background with 0–5 years experience and may hold a Master’s degree in related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 0–5 years related experience.
• Master’s degree in related field and mobile machine design experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Complete engineering tasks across complex features and design requirements.
• Technically manage projects of small scope.
• Ensure that customer requirements are converted into total system solutions.
• Support the Systems Engineering Program with hazard analyses and FMEAs.
• Develop and propose design approaches for new or improved products; consolidate mechanical design elements.
• Demonstrate sound technical judgment and independent evaluation.
• Devise innovative solutions to problems.
• Conduct technical investigations involving material, component, or process specifications.
• Generate work instructions and test procedures.
• Prepare reports and present results to management and clients.
• Evaluate vendor capability to provide required products or services.
• Occasional work outside normal hours; adherence to safety and environment regulations.
