Job summary

KUKA is seeking a Project Engineer who will review sketches and designs, ensuring systems are cost-efficient and meet customer specifications. The role supports the Project Manager and coordinates with Advance Processing, Mechanical, and Controls Engineering to maintain project momentum.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and several years of related engineering experience, with strong CAD and FMEA knowledge to drive successful design reviews and product deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of related experience in BIW, Chassis/Glass, Special Welding, or similar.
Competence in controls engineering and mechanical design including force analysis, standardization, processing, CAD, cause and effects, R&M, SPC and FMEA.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in organizing and supervising engineering activities.
Coordinate design reviews and facilitate meetings with engineering teams and customer representatives.
Review layouts, designs, and drawings with design vendors and engineering.
Monitor engineering progress and ensure drawings are updated per project requirements.
Prepare and review FMEA and related design reviews at key milestones.
