Job summary

West Coast Wound is a mobile wound care company providing in-home treatments in the Las Vegas area. We seek Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to travel locally, perform wound care and related tests, and manage patient care in homes and SNFs. Extensive in-house training is provided; driving to patient sites is required.

Candidates must be NV-licensed NPs or PAs, have CPR, and strong communication and customer service skills. This is not a remote role and local travel is required.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an NP or PA (NV)
• CPR certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and basic auto insurance; local travel required

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to treat the patient
• Perform wound care procedures as part of the care plan
• Define and document patient diagnoses
• Ensure patient satisfaction with care
• Educate and manage patients
• Debride wounds safely during visits
• Apply topical wound care products
• Notate findings and treatment in the patient chart with follow-up notes
