Job summary

Wound Care on Wheels is seeking a skilled Mobile Wound Care NP to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds during home visits and in care facilities. This role requires strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and excellent communication to collaborate with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.

Applicants must be licensed as a Nevada NP, possess board certification (FNP/AGNP or equivalent), and preferably a Certified Wound Specialist.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP in Nevada
• Board certification as FNP/AGNP or similar
• CWS/WCC or similar certification preferred
• 1–2 years in wound care, dermatology, home health, or related field
• Strong ability to work independently in the field
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for travel within service area

Responsibilities

• Provide wound assessments and treatment plans during home visits, SNF, and other care settings
• Perform debridement procedures as needed
• Use advanced wound care techniques including NPWT, compression, and biologic dressings
• Assess and manage wound infections in collaboration with physicians
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on wound prevention and management
• Coordinate care with PCPs, home health agencies, and specialists
• Document encounters in EMR in compliance with HIPAA
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans for optimal healing
• Stay updated with evidence-based wound care guidelines
