Job summary

Wound Haven in Texas is seeking compassionate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join a mobile wound care team that visits patients at their homes and care facilities. You will assess wounds, develop treatment plans, and deliver care within established protocols, traveling across your Texas service area within a 50-mile radius of your home city.

Full-time and part-time W-2 positions with benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NP or PA certification and an active Texas license in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach and collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ wound care needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide wound care within scope of practice and clinical protocols.
• Monitor healing progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound management and prevention.
• Collaborate with providers, facility staff, and the clinical team for continuity of care.
• Complete accurate, timely patient documentation using an iPad and EHR.
• Organize your schedule to provide dependable, attentive patient care.
