Job summary

Manheim Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspector roles are open across Level 1, Level 2, and Senior levels. Inspect vehicles on dealer lots, document conditions, and engage dealer clients to grow mobile inspection participation.

Compensation is hourly and varies by level, with safety and quality as core priorities. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to meet physical/mental demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0-1 years of automotive-related experience preferred for Level 1.
• 1-2 years of automotive-related experience preferred for Level 2.
• 5 years' experience preferred for Senior Level (alternative combos possible).
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Document vehicle condition and data accurately in inspection systems.
• Build trust with dealer clients through quality inspections and professionalism.
• Educate clients on the value of Manheim Marketplace and mobile inspection services.
• Collaborate with teams to support client success and improve processes.
