Job summary

Manheim is hiring Mobile Vehicle Inspectors to perform on-site condition inspections for dealer clients in an assigned territory. You will document VINs, mileage, exterior and interior conditions, and mechanical checks with attention to detail.

Roles vary by level: Level 1 is entry-level with basic inspections, Level 2 adds independent activity management and higher expectations, and Senior handles advanced inspections and mentoring.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge is preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0-1 years of automotive-related experience preferred (Level 1) or 1-3 years (Level 2) or 5 years (Senior).
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections following Manheim inspection standards.
• Document vehicle condition accurately in inspection systems.
• Safely move and inspect vehicles on dealer lots.
• Engage dealer clients to grow participation in mobile inspection services.
• Prepare daily activity and production reports.
