Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Manheim Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspector to perform on-site inspections across dealer lots.

This role supports client trust and marketplace transparency by documenting vehicle condition per inspection standards and engaging dealer clients to grow participation in mobile inspection services. Open to all levels; levels include Entry, Mid, and Senior with varying hourly pay ranges and growth opportunities in a Cox Automotive service area.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.
Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots.
Verify vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
Inspect and document exterior and interior vehicle condition and installed options.
Perform basic mechanical checks across powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components.
Identify and document damage, missing components, or inoperable features.
