Job summary

VIC the PICC (VTP) is a specialized vascular access provider delivering on-site and mobile support across the Western and Southern United States. We seek RNs with USGIV experience for full-time Vascular Access Nurse Consultant roles; PICC certification training is provided for qualified candidates with recent USGIV placement history.

As a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you will collaborate with clinical teams, travel to customer facilities, and help resolve venous access issues while

Qualifications

Active RN license in the US
Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs)
Experience with vascular access device management, maintenance, and troubleshooting
American Heart BLS certification
Smartphone and reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance
Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation
Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices
Provide vascular access support including port access, line removal, and declotting
Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and CVADs
