Job summary

VTP is seeking RNs with strong, recent USGIV placement experience for full-time Vascular Access Nurse Consultant roles. PICC certification training is provided for qualifying candidates with consistent USGIV history.

Experienced PICC nurses are welcome to apply for Per Diem or Full-Time positions. As a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you'll collaborate with our customers' clinical teams to resolve venous access issues and support treatment objectives set by the physician.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current, active license.
Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
American Heart BLS Certification.
Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and meet scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification.
Must possess a smart phone.
Must LOVE vascular access.

Responsibilities

Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
