Job summary

VIC the PICC (VTP) is a specialized healthcare provider offering vascular access consulting across the Western and Southern United States. We hire RN consultants for full-time or per diem roles, with competitive pay and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

This position includes 12-hour shifts (12PM–12AM), weekend and holiday rotation, and opportunities to train in PICC certification. Travel to various facilities is required, with company vehicle support where available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current, active license.
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
• Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• American Heart BLS Certification.
• Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
