Job summary

VTP Holdings, LLC seeks a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant to place PICCs and other CVADs, using ultrasound guidance, and to support treatment objectives across varied clinical settings.

USGIV placement experience is required. A PICC certification training program is provided for qualifying candidates. The role offers full-time or per diem schedules with travel to customer facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active license
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs)
• Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management
• USGIV placement experience required
• Able to work independently and meet scheduling requirements
• Must possess a smartphone
• Must LOVE vascular access

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs
