Job summary

Nextech is seeking a Universal Service Technician to service commercial HVAC/R and kitchen equipment. You will own on-site service calls, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain equipment across multiple specialties.

The role offers company vehicle, paid training, and benefits, with travel to customer locations and on-call duties. A relevant background and EPA certification are preferred, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of recent commercial HVAC/R field experience or 3+ years servicing commercial kitchen equipment; equivalent training accepted.
• Demonstrated experience in at least two specialties—HVAC, refrigeration, or kitchen equipment—preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, gas, steam, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and service bulletins.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations and coordinate with dispatch.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and calibrate HVAC/R and kitchen equipment.
• Diagnose issues across electrical, electronic, mechanical, gas, steam, and refrigeration domains.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Document work orders, parts, equipment info, and service recommendations.
