Nextech is seeking a Universal Service Technician for Commercial HVAC/R and Kitchen Equipment in Chesapeake, VA. You’ll service and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment, traveling to customer sites and working from a company-provided van with a gas card.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and ongoing certification support. Qualifications include 2+ years in HVAC/R or 3+ years in kitchen equipment, EPA refrigerant-handling certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of recent commercial HVAC/R field experience or 3+ years servicing commercial kitchen equipment; equivalent training considered.
• Experience in at least two specialties—commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or commercial kitchen equipment—preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver exceptional service on every call with a customer-first mindset.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, replace, adjust, and calibrate commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, gas, steam, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs; recommend parts and system upgrades.
