Job summary

Plasser American Corp in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an Ultrasonic Testing Operator to join our field team. The role requires extensive travel across North America, operating on road and rail equipment with a focus on safety and quality control.

You will work closely with the Chief Operator, perform pre/post-trip maintenance, and complete required paperwork. A high school diploma or GED and a valid CDL with Air Brake endorsement are expected, with strong communication and safety records.

Qualifications

• Requires a High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license Class A or B with Air Brake endorsement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must maintain safety training and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Report to Field Manager and follow Chief Operator guidance.
• Mark rail defects according to standards.
• Maintain safe operation of rail and road vehicles and perform pre/post-trip checks.
• Produce paperwork: elog reports, maintenance and trip reports, fuel logs.
